has this always been a problem? i don't remember until just the last couple of years hearing about this happening.
on friday, little dudes and daisies daycare had taken 10 kids in a van on a field trip and somehow forgot to account for a two year old boy. they found him a couple of hours later and he finally succumbed today after 3 days of struggling. now they're playing the 911 tape of the worker begging him to start breathing.
i'm not looking forward to another summer of these stories. and as horrible as it is, it makes me nervous to think that should i ever have a child, would it be possible for me to make that kind of a judgment error? that has to be such a horrible thing for a parent to have to live with.
