brian sent me an email asking if i wanted to take a walk this evening. walking, even in the evening, is just not something you do in texas in the summer. at least, not if you're me. or at the very least, not if you're me and you have a baby who's capable of igniting his body temperature like it's a bottle rocket.
brian also suggested we would be experiencing a second "cool front" making outdoor activities possible this weekend.
so, needless to say, i became rather curious about this so called weather going on outside and just now checked the temperature on msn.com.
4:53... just 7 minutes away from the purported hottest time of the day... and it's a paltry 90 degrees out there! and it feels like 90 degrees! not the usual 101 and feels like 108 in the shade of crispy leaves attached to crackling trees.
break out the cardigans and mufflers.
