e-i-e-i-meow

oliver has gone from singing "E-I-E-I-E-I" to "E-I-E-I-O".

tonight, while we were practicing, brian dreamed a dream that we would sing the song and squeeze ozzy every time we needed a "MEOW".

i was sitting here on the couch working when i looked up at the tv to see an episode of "america's funniest videos" with a clip of a woman singing old macdonald and squeezing her ozzy-looking cat when she needed a "MEOW". it is fate trying to tell me something. it must be rather important.

for dinner, i marinated tofu in mirin, tamari, ginger, garlic, chili paste, and sesame oil, then pan fried it and slapped it on top of broccoli, red bell pepper, and mushrooms which had been sauteed in the leftover marinade. not too shabby. oliver ate all of his. not that that's an indicator of quality. oliver will eat a piece of cereal that's been under the couch for two months after being stuck to a shoe. we call his food "baby grade".
